Dunton Hot Springs is a small and exclusive resort nestled deep in the San Juan Mountains of the Colorado Rockies. This romantic old mining town resort is a tribute to the American West, offering authentically restored hand-built log cabins with loads of sturdy rustic charm and character. Offering magnificent views of the mountains and the surrounding meadows, each cabin has a distinct character full of unique artifacts and elegant furnishings.Major Ross Cabin was built in the mid 1800’s; Bjoerkmans Cabin is named after the miner who originally built it; Dolores Cabin features a Rajasthan wedding bed; and the Dunton Store Cabin has its own private soaking pool out back. Alas, each cabin also comes with a hefty price tag, starting at $1,200 per night (Ouch!) including all meals and beverages.
