The city of Lucca in Tuscany, Italy is famous for its medieval architecture intact walls that run through the city. However, among all the splendid buildings stands the famous Torre Guinigi (or Guinigi Tower in English), an impressive tower of 44.5 meters, the top of which is a "garden-surprise", which consists of several oak species. The tower was built in the 14th century and was the largest in the city, of which about 250 were built over the years. Represented the prestige of the family Guinigi, one of the city's most important and basic feature is the oak ceiling syteftikan who shortly after its construction. There are seven oaks there for hundreds of years, the roots of which developed into a large box, built the stone walls, continuing to grow over time. It is said that the family planted oaks as representing renewal and rebirth, and it is not surprising that the family Guinigi had seven sons, and many oaks. The impressive thing is that a roof garden building is dated several years ago, making his way with one of the first vertical garden in the history of landscape architecture in buildings, impressing both the ingenuity of the owners of the tower and the enjoyment in and visitors because of the impressive sight.
